Here at GXO Swindon we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team, supporting our customer, B&Q. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, we are currently recruiting for the following patterns:
Rotating day shift following two-week pattern: Week 1 Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 06:00-14:00 / Week 2 Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 14:00 to 22:00
Nights shift, Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 22:00 to 06:00

What youll do on a typical day:
Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous warehouse experience within fast-paced logistics environment
Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
Experience operating or holding valid certificate of competence for Counterbalance/Reach Truck would be an advantage, but not essential
