Healthwatch Worcestershire is the independent voice for people using health and social care services. We listen to local experiences, share insights with decision-makers, and help improve services across the county.
Assistant Engagement Officer
We are looking for someone who has an ability to connect with people and is able to empathise with their point of view, is happy to use digital channels as a way of engaging with people (particularly Facebook and LinkedIn), has clear written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills, can manage their own workload (some hours will be worked from home), and has a full UK driving licence as attending meetings/events around Worcestershire is a must.

* Passion for inclusion, community voice, and making services better.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and life experiences. This is a 12‑month contract initially, with the possibility of extension depending on government timelines guided by the NHS 10‑year plan.
Contract
* Hours by negotiation (minimum 21 hours up to full time available).
* £14,084 per annum for 21 hours (FTE £24,480).
* Hybrid Remote – Ability to attend meetings both at the Pershore office and across Worcestershire.
