The Dumfries and Galloway Mental Health Allied Health Professions Team is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Mental Health and Eating Disorder Dietitian to join our specialist adult service. This role forms part of the wider Mental Health AHP Team and is a core member of the Adult Specialist Eating Disorder Service, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide compassionate, evidence‑based nutritional care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated clinician with a strong interest in adult mental health nutrition, eating disorder treatment, clinical nutrition, and nutritional rehabilitation within an adult focused pathway. The postholder must be able to travel independently across Dumfries and Galloway to support delivery of high quality, accessible care.
This role is ideal for someone seeking opportunities within NHS dietetics, adult mental health dietitian roles, adult eating disorder services, and specialist dietetic practice, and offers the chance to contribute to the development of innovative, recovery focused adult care pathways.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Band 6 dietetic registration with the relevant professional body.
* Experience in adult mental health nutrition and eating disorder treatment preferred.
* Ability to travel independently across Dumfries and Galloway.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
