Reporting to the Head of Product Management for Product Lifecycle, you will lead a team of talented product managers and be accountable for a set of complex and strategic UIs and services within the product portfolio. You will drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution, owning the vision and strategy for the Quality area, which is central to our Magnetic Value pillar. You will collaborate with the Quality business, Online team, Marketplace, and F&F propositions.
You will be a master practitioner of product management, responsible for ensuring your team has the necessary resources and skills to successfully execute the strategy and roadmap for your products.
* Accountable for a complex set of UIs and APIs involving multiple stakeholders, leading your team to develop and execute product strategies.
* Understand your business stakeholders' pain points and guide your team to prioritize high-value products and priorities.
* Set clear goals and KPIs for your team, regularly review them, and provide feedback for improvement.
* Manage conflicting priorities effectively, communicate clearly, and foster focus and excellence within your team.
* Identify and remove impediments, work with stakeholders, and proactively flag risks or delays.
* Contribute to capacity and capability planning to ensure your team can meet demand.
* Build and nurture a talented team of product managers aligned with business needs and strategic priorities.
* Conduct people routines, develop talent, and ensure team motivation through fulfilling roles and recognition.
* Perform performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with the Head of Product to understand future demand and product direction.
* Achieve or exceed product KPIs and improvements.
Additional responsibilities include product management of UIs and APIs, managing domain boundaries, and success in line managing product managers, taking ideas from conception to go-live with measurable success.
Experience in capacity planning, working with stakeholders on future demands, knowledge of business processes, and systems are essential. The role requires technical competence in UX/UI, transactional APIs, and service-oriented architecture to influence solutions and estimate work complexity.
