Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled, SIA licensed Security Officer to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors through thorough access control, site inductions, patrols, and emergency response. You will work an average of 42 hours weekly covering days and nights on a 4‑days‑on / 4‑days‑off / 4‑nights‑on shift pattern (06:00‑18:00 and 18:00‑06:00).

Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
* Valid SIA Front‑Line licence (essential).
* Valid UK manual driving licence (essential).
* Confidence and ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel).
* Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain overall site surveillance, conduct regular patrols, and record activities.
* Brief and manage visitor and contractor sign‑ins/outs.
* Record entry and exit of deliveries and process paperwork per quality procedures.
* Perform patrols to the required standards.
* Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security where applicable.
* Comply with waste‑management procedures.
* Complete required documents: daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records, and site reports.
* Familiarise with assignment instructions, risk assessments, and safety documents; advise duty manager or client on improvements.
* Maintain training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, ensuring up‑to‑date first aid and fire marshal certifications.
* Show professionalism and display SIA licence at all times.
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
