Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceutical

Shift: Monday to Friday – Days
Rate: £33p/h - £35p/h (Outside IR35)
Location: Duxford
We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer & Operator to support a pilot pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, combining machinery operation, maintenance, and involvement in new equipment and process development within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate pilot plant machinery for powder production and packaging
* Carry out routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
* Fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
* Support testing and commissioning of new equipment and processes
* Maintain accurate records in line with GMP and regulatory standards
Requirements:
1. Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
2. Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing
3. Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical production machinery
4. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
5. Good understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
