Job Description
3. Oversee construction project costs and contracts
4. Manage financial risks associated with property development
5. Liaise with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors
6. Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders
7. Conduct cost analysis and draw up detailed budgets
8. Ensure that construction work adheres to all legal and quality standards
9. Report on the financial progress of projects and any potential disputes
10. Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
11. A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
12. Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting
13. Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
14. Strong negotiation skills
15. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
16. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial matters
