We are recruiting a Job Evaluation Consultant to conduct a full review of our global job grades, with a principle focus on non-fee earner roles. The role holder will be responsible for mapping roles to ensure consistency, considering salaries and contract types, taking account of the global view and the new European Directive legislation
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
1. Proven experience in job evaluation, preferably within professional services.
2. Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies and frameworks.
3. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
4. Conduct comprehensive job evaluations, ensuring consistency and fairness across all roles, reviewing job titles, roles and responsibilities.
5. Establish clear criteria for each grade, including required skills, experience, responsibilities, and impact on the firm, ensuring the grade structure is aligned to the firm’s strategy.
6. Assess each employee's performance and responsibilities against the criteria defined for each grade.
7. Provide expert advice and guidance on job evaluation methodologies and best practice, using methods such as point factor evaluation, or competency mapping to assess roles and responsibilities.
8. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the firms pay structures remain competitive and compliant with industry standards and recommend appropriate pay grades for various roles within the firm.
9. Consult with Group HR and Senior Leaders in the mapping process to gather necessary information and insights.
10. Prepare and present reports on job evaluation findings and recommendations to Senior Leaders.
11. Clearly communicate the new structure and how it affects each employee's grade and salary.
12. Offer training and support to employees as they adjust to the new structure.
