Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are working closely with a Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire who are looking for a KS2 Teacher to join their team to cover Maternity Leave from Term 5.
You will be joining a 1 form entry, village Primary School, who aim to build a supportive and progressive education for their pupils.
The school, parents and wider community are actively involved in their pupils’ learning, the school is passionate about preparing them to meet the challenges of education, work and life.
The Role
From Term 5, you will be joining the school as a Year 5 teacher, covering Maternity Leave.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that align with the national curriculum but also bring an inclusive approach to allow all children to achieve their abilities.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can be flexible but bring their own initiative and creative ideas to planning and day to day KS2 activities.
You will be expected to:
* Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
* Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning.
* Create an engaging learning environment
* Experience of working with children from mixed ability backgrounds
* Experience of SEND practices
* Provide a safe and caring learning environment for the pupils.
