About the Role -
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger to join the Glasgow Office. This opportunity would suit someone who has previous experience processing purchase ledger transactions. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in one of the UK's leading private Engineering Consultancies, providing integrated solutions for a range of public and private clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Purchase Ledger transactions processed promptly and accurately.
* Direct Debit and other bank transactions processed promptly and accurately.
* Prepare bi-monthly Payment Runs
* Bank reconciliations
* Process monthly company credit card payments
* Process monthly phone bills
* Process Petty Cash transactions
* Record and track business rates
* Prepare Purchase Ledger Accruals
* Ad hoc reports for Finance Director
* Ad hoc support for Wider Finance team and business
* Ad hoc response to supplier queries
* Processing of Personal Expenses
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of processing Financial transactions
* System Transitions – Involving data cleaning
* Ability to work with colleagues at various levels of seniority and across locations
