Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $57.00/hr
Job Title: Back-End AWS Engineer
Location: Remote but must be located within an hour or so of the following locations:
Duration: Long term contract
Must Have:
* AWS
* With Lambdas
* With Typescript
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and TypeScript
* Build and manage APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) and event-driven architectures
* Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
* Collaborate with front-end engineers, architects, and DevOps teams
* Monitor and optimize application performance and cost on AWS
Required Skills:
* Strong experience with AWS Lambda and other AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.)
* Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)
* Familiarity with event-driven or microservices architecture
