Our client is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in creating innovative, high-performance products that stand out in the market. In this position, you’ll be instrumental in strengthening the engineering team’s capabilities, championing excellence, and driving forward continuous improvement and technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive the successful development and launch of new products from initial concept through to completion
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Take the lead on engineering projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery
Support the continuous enhancement of team skills and knowledge through structured training and mentoring
Oversee and coordinate technical visits and meetings with clients and external partners
Evaluate the feasibility of new ideas, products, and processes to inform strategic decisions
Contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives by identifying and implementing value-driven engineering solutions
Promote a culture of quality, performance, and technical excellence across the department
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Demonstrated success in bringing multiple new products to market
Strong background in precision mechanical manufacturing
Confident in engaging with customers and stakeholders, both in-person and remotely, with occasional travel as required
Familiar with ERP systems would be beneficial, but not essential
