Dental Nurse
Location: Bexhill-On-Sea, East Sussex Employment Type: Full-time (open to part time)
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join a friendly and professional dental team. This role involves providing clinical support to dentists, hygienists, and therapists, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clinicians during procedures in line with GDC guidelines and professional standards.
* Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, following strict infection control protocols.
* Record dental charting and oral tissue assessments accurately.
* Support and reassure patients throughout their treatment.
* Carry out additional duties such as oral health education, radiography preparation, and assisting with sedation cases (following appropriate training).
* Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
* Assist with reception and clerical tasks when required.
* Monitor stock levels and liaise with management regarding supplies.
* Participate in CPD and annual emergency training to maintain professional standards.
