The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance, compliance, and development of estates. From providing expert advice on building issues to leading key projects and managing contracts, you’ll be an integral part of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting condition surveys and preparing maintenance plans
2. Managing and delivering estate capital projects
3. Preparing design work, specifications, and tender documents
4. Ensuring statutory and contractual compliance
5. Leading project teams and liaising with stakeholders
6. Managing contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery
What We’re Looking For:
1. Degree in Building Surveying (or a related subject) OR 10+ years of experience in the field
2. Membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant professional body
3. Strong project management skills and experience leading building projects
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
5. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong analytical skills
