About the Job:

We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to work as a Functional Assessor in an exciting and challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

* You will undertake initial reviews, paper-based, face-to-face, video or telephone assessments to assess the impact of health conditions and disabilities on a claimant's day-to-day life.

* Your comprehensive reports will be used to inform decisions that support individuals with their claims.

Requirements:
">

* Registration as a qualified Adult Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic is required.
">
* A minimum of 1 year post-registration experience is necessary.
">
* Valid registration with the NMC or HCPC without restrictions or conditions is essential.
">
* Excellent communication and IT skills are required, including the ability to type at least 32 words per minute.
">
* You must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
">

* The basic salary is £38,500 rising to £39,500 upon successful completion of training stages.

* A one-off payment of £1000 and a 10% quality and performance bonus are available after competency and training completion.
