2 shift rota: Days 6am-2pm and Afters 2pm-10pm
Mon to Fri - enjoy your weekends off!
Your role:
1. Daily pre-use checks
2. Shunt trailers timely & efficiently between locations
3. Liaise with Haulers when required
4. Work to a loading/unloading schedule
5. Seal and secure all loaded trailers within the yard
6. Position trailers to allow safe unloading
7. Ensure outside bay areas are kept clean and litter free
8. Be responsible for basic upkeep of shunter vehicle
9. Check lights, tyres and insides of trailers
10. Adhere to the company’s H&S regulations
What we’re looking for:
11. HGV1 Licence holder
12. FLT License is desirable but not essential
13. Strong commitment to a 'Safety First' culture
14. Ability to work independently to a high standard
15. Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
16. Positive attitude
17. Excellent team player with strong communication skills
