Job Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding Team

Pay Rate: £32.73
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client's Safeguarding Team in Durham.
We are committed to protecting children and supporting families through high-quality social work practice. The role follows a hybrid working model - typically two days in the office and three days from home (subject to change based on service needs).
As an experienced Social Worker, you will play a key role in delivering statutory services and interventions to children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, Public Law Outline (PLO), and Court proceedings.
What will your responsibilities be?
* Complete Children & Families assessments in line with statutory requirements.
* Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings.
* Write Children in Our Care reports and plans.
* Attend PLO meetings and contribute to pre-proceedings work.
* Prepare Court evidence and attend hearings as required.
* Work directly with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and Court processes.
* Undertake other social work-related tasks as directed by your manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
