Business Development Executive – Edinburgh
Blue Legal has partnered with a growing international law firm, seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to support their international go-to-market strategy and sector teams. The role involves working closely with the Business Development Manager to deliver BD initiatives, bid/proposals, digital marketing, and social media management.
Responsibilities:
* Assist BD Managers in developing, implementing, and reviewing sector-specific business plans, supporting partner leads and their teams in BD activities.
* Lead and support planning and execution of large strategic campaigns and BD targeting activities, collaborating with team members for successful delivery.
* Create and update credentials, case studies, and testimonials; work with the design team to prepare client presentations and materials aligned with the firm’s branding.
* Support BDMs in achieving sector targets and identifying cross-selling opportunities within the client base.
* Manage and monitor BD activities, providing regular feedback on ROI.
* Assist the Bids team with major panel tenders, including drafting bids and leading bid opportunities.
* Collaborate with the BD team to support sectors with CRM queries, client mailings, and event management.
* Maintain content on various platforms, including the website, intranet, and social channels like LinkedIn and Twitter.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working within a legal or professional services firm.
* Relevant Business or Marketing degree or equivalent.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
* Ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
