We are seeking a National Account Manager (NAM) for Northern Ireland to drive growth across a designated customer base. The role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, executing commercial plans, and delivering results across a diverse portfolio of categories and brands. You will collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to implement business plans, trade activations, and promotional calendars, as well as work closely with the Business Development team to support initiatives at the store level. Key Responsibilities Achieve annual volume, revenue, and contribution targets. Build and maintain strong business relationships with key customers to drive commercial success. Ensure customer price files are accurately maintained, including list pricing, promotions, and retrospective payments, coordinating with the finance team and managing CPIs. Collaborate with Commercial Finance to manage joint business planning and promotional spend, regularly reviewing and analysing performance for optimal return. Ensure full availability of core and extended ranges, and coordinate timely launch of new products. Maintain regular communication with Field Sales teams regarding customer developments, new listings, stock levels, promotions, and range reviews. Complete monthly sales forecasts accurately by SKU and forecast centre to support demand planning. Meet regularly with Supply Chain to influence inventory management and customer service levels. Work with brand and category Insight managers to identify opportunities to grow distribution and sales. Proactively identify and pursue new distribution opportunities. Undertake other tasks as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Extensive sales and customer management experience in retail or wholesale channels. FMCG experience essential, particularly within the food and drink sector. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Creative thinker with an innovative, outside-the-box approach. Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills. Ability to foster close working relationships across teams. Resilient self-starter with a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
