Overview
Serve as Deputy Site Security Manager, leveraging Construction Security Technicians (CST) and Construction Security Plan (CSP) to identify threats and risks, and protect the integrity of facilities throughout the life cycle of renovation projects as part of a larger construction team. Report to the SSM and the SSO. Serve as the backup point of contact in providing security support with respect to planning, scheduling, advising, and monitoring the construction surveillance program of the client. Conduct design construction, field, and office activities related to administration of the construction surveillance program. Provide support services to interpret, extend, originate, and devise means and methods for supporting the CSP. Provide advice and guidance to all levels of the program management and operating elements concerning all aspects of programs, including the CSP, collateral programs, and their interface with other related operational functions. Analyze the effectiveness of the project CSP and develop new measures to increase the overall effectiveness of the plan.
Responsibilities
* Assist with planning, scheduling, advising, and monitoring the construction surveillance program
* Interpret, extend, originate, and devise methods to support the CSP
* Provide guidance to program management and operating elements on CSP and related programs
* Analyze CSP effectiveness and propose improvements
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience as an SSM or DSSM on a large-scale SCIF construction site
* 3+ years of experience in counterintelligence and surveillance operations or technical surveillance countermeasures
* Experience drafting and approving CST and CAG standard operating procedures
* TS/SCI clearance
* Bachelor's degree
* Department of State (DOS) or Department of Defense (DOD) SSM Certification
Additional Qualifications
* Experience working on OCONUS SCIF projects
* Experience and knowledge of Division 13 Specialized construction and TEMPEST countermeasures
* Experience leading and managing a large construction security team
* Knowledge of construction guidelines and federal regulations ICD-705
* Ability to read complex drawings
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
