Job Description
Aberdeenshire Council is seeking temporary summer support to assist in delivering sustainable and active travel projects. Working alongside transport planning professionals, the successful candidate will need good organisational skills, effective time management, and a willingness to learn new skills during this placement. This position is ideal for those seeking a short-term contract during the summer, extending until September 2025. It offers a unique opportunity to support Aberdeenshire Council's goals of promoting better places through active travel.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organisation.
Working days will be discussed at the interview. The contract is fixed-term, ending no later than 29 August 2025.
Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all employees earning less than £12.60 per hour.
