Job Description
Based at various locations throughout Angus.
The hourly rate includes payment for holidays, which is paid as a percentage of your hourly rate and itemised on your payslip. Successful applicants will be placed on our casual worker register and engaged as needed based on service requirements.
This job operates under workstyle 1 - Fixed, primarily involving direct delivery of front-line services. You may need to access specific council locations depending on your role.
Angus Council operates the following early learning and childcare models:
* ELC Model 1: 190 days at 6 hours per day
* ELC Model 2: 152 days at 7.5 hours per day
* ELC Model 3: 228 days at 5 hours per day, open 46.6 weeks/year
We seek enthusiastic early years practitioners to work across all local authority early learning and childcare settings on an as-required basis. Availability for short-notice coverage is important.
Within the early level, you will deliver a flexible, high-quality, education and care service tailored to young children and their families.

Requirements
* Membership of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or commitment to gain registration is essential.
* Ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
