Location: Preston or Frimley (Hybrid and flexible working options available)
Salary: Circa £40,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a professional and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to a Senior Executive. This role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills to ensure the efficient running of the Executive’s office, enabling strategic priorities to be delivered effectively. The role includes managing schedules, communications, and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality executive support, ensuring that the office of the Senior Executive operates smoothly and efficiently.
* Coordinate the Executive’s calendar, travel, meetings, and administrative needs.
* Prepare, summarise, and, where necessary, research reports and documents to ensure the Executive is fully informed.
* Manage communications on behalf of the Executive, including handling correspondence and calls, drafting responses, and redirecting inquiries appropriately.
* Maintain strong engagement with internal and external senior stakeholders.
* Apply detailed business awareness to ensure seamless operations and engagement.
Candidate Profile
* Significant experience providing secretarial or administrative support to senior-level executives.
* Strong stakeholder management skills across various organisational levels.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with corporate IT systems.
* Broad understanding of business functions and organisational structure.
* Ability to identify underlying issues through basic analysis and propose solutions.

Department Overview
The role is part of the Enterprise IT (EIT) function, which provides secure, reliable, and cost-effective IT services across UK and international operations. The EIT team plays a critical role in supporting technology-driven innovation and operational efficiency within a secure digital infrastructure.
Additional Information
Candidates must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Depending on the role, higher levels of security clearance may be required, including long-term UK residency (5–10 years).
