We are seeking a Resourcing Official to join our People Matters - Resourcing Team, with the role predominantly focused on supporting the Temporary Staffing Service (TSS). This is a key operational role that sits at the heart of workforce delivery, helping ensure safe, compliant and cost‑effective temporary staffing across the Trust.
Working primarily within TSS, you will provide end‑to‑end support for temporary staffing and bank worker processes, including onboarding, compliance monitoring, audits and system management. You'll ensure bank workers meet Terms of Registration and statutory requirements, proactively addressing compliance issues and escalating risks where needed, while contributing to service resilience and continuity.
Alongside your TSS focus, you will work closely with colleagues across the wider Resourcing function, supporting recruitment activity where required and helping to maintain a joined‑up, flexible service. You'll provide advice and guidance to managers, promote best practice, and play an active role in initiatives to reduce reliance on agency staffing by strengthening and sustaining the internal bank. The role involves regular use of systems such as Bank Staff, Health Roster, ESR and TRAC, supporting audits and KPIs, and contributing to onboarding, induction and mandatory training compliance. You'll also act as a point of support for colleagues within the team, helping maintain quality standards and a positive, collaborative working culture.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and customer‑focused, with experience of working in a busy administrative environment and confidence in managing people and competing priorities. Experience within NHS temporary staffing or recruitment, and familiarity with resourcing systems, would be an advantage, but equally important is your attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Based at New Mill with agile working, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your resourcing career while developing specialist experience in temporary staffing. You'll join a friendly, supportive Resourcing Team - small but highly effective - where collaboration, shared learning and helping each other succeed are genuinely part of day‑to‑day working.
