Event Manager (Casual/Freelance) This is an exciting opportunity to operate on behalf of The International Convention Centre & the Vox Venue, as we breathe life back into our venues and the wider events industry, at an exciting point where we are exceptionally united and driven to achieve success in our venues We are looking to expand our portfolio of casual/freelance operational Event Managers and now seek applications from experienced, fun-loving & vibrant Event Managers, who possess a vast array of event management competencies, to deliver a consistently excellent approach to events both at The ICC and The Vox. The portfolio of events you could work on will be wide ranging, from global congresses, televised events, corporate conferences, large scale exhibitions & hybrid events, to name but a few Events are our passion, regardless of shape or size and our venues are simply first class, in a city without limits. What's needed from you: Demonstrable evidence of being a world class Event Manager, working on an array of varied events, hitting the ground running Strong understanding of different event profiles to include but not limited to Corporate / Association / Banqueting, Political, VIP, Incentive, Exhibition and virtual / hybrid events Skilled in competent profiling of events with a good understanding of crowd management / mass gathering principles and crisis management Good, demonstrable understanding of the AEV eGuide Good understanding of corporate responsibilities & sustainability principles Good knowledge of production management and aspects of technical delivery on events Diligent, organised and able to prioritise effectively Demonstratable understanding of the trends in the physical & digital event space IOSH qualification essential NEBOSH General / Fire qualifications desirable Do you deliver event experiences that excite and delight clients and their audiences and as a result, define the industry mark?
