Assistant Branch Manager

As a key member of the branch management team, you will drive standards, build outstanding customer relationships, and lead the team in delivering high performance.
Motivate and coach colleagues to realise their potential, ensuring smooth, efficient branch operations, including fleet management, tool hire, and the Benchmarx implant.
Champion a safety-first culture, prioritise the wellbeing of your team and customers, and consistently deliver exceptional service to maximise sales.
Responsibilities
* Drive daily sales activity and achieve targets.
* Set and maintain branch standards and foster excellent customer relationships.
* Motivate, coach and develop colleagues.
* Ensure efficient operation of fleet, tool hire and Benchmarx systems.
* Champion safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Deliver outstanding customer service to maximise sales.
* Maintain high standards and operate as a high‑energy team player.
Qualifications
* Relevant experience in a sales leadership role.
* Strong people skills for building relationships and successful negotiation.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail.
* Experience in the building‑materials industry is an advantage, but a successful sales leader in another customer‑centric industry is welcome.
* Ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve high potential.
