In this role, you will help guide young individuals aged 8-18 facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, all while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
About the Role
As a Residential Home Team Leader, you will:
* Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of our home.
* Ensure the continuous improvement of our 'Outstanding' rated service.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a small team, ensuring a positive atmosphere for our young residents.
* Assist in creating and reviewing care plans that meet the highest standards.
* Act as a deputy for the Registered Manager when needed.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A full UK driving license.
* Your Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
* A passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their welfare.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Working Conditions
This is a permanent, full-time position with a commitment of 40 hours per week. You will be responsible to the Registered Manager and will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of the home.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary structure:
* Basic salary of £27,803.20, with the potential to earn up to £34,523.20 through sleep-in shifts.
* Up to £6,720 in sleep-in payments (average of 6-8 shifts per month at £70 each).
