Health Care Support Worker - Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service
Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for a permanent role within Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services, working in In‑Patient Services. The post is based at Kershaw Inpatients, Gartnavel Royal Hospital.
Shift Pattern
Long Day Dayshift & Nightshift as well as Rotational.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient‑centred care for individuals requiring treatment for alcohol and substance use.
* Fulfil main duties and responsibilities as outlined in the full job description.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and manage time efficiently.
* Maintain a compassionate, person‑centred approach at all times within an inpatient hospital environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Motivation and willingness to work in an inpatient setting.
* Good verbal and written communication skills and effective time management.
* Any additional qualifications relevant to the care of people with alcohol and substance use issues will be considered.
