Main duties and responsibilities
1. To lead and provide strategic direction to the Precision Surface Solutions Business.
2. Lead, manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
3. To be responsible for developing the Precision Surface Solutions Business Scorecard and reporting performance monthly. The Scorecard will include Financial, Customer, Health and Safety, Quality and People measures.
4. To work closely with the WGM Transformation and Digital Transformation Directors to explore opportunities for new ways of working in the Business.
5. To work closely with the Performance and Planning Director to implement a process led way of delivering work in the business.
6. To build strong relationships with the bWGM leadership to optimise opportunities for the business in England.
7. To support and develop the framework opportunities across AMP 8, in the English Water Sector.
8. To work closely with WGM Business Development to target and secure opportunities that are aligned with the strategic direction of the Precision Surface Solutions business.
9. Identify, recruit and deploy the required capable resources within the business.
10. Set the team objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience ideally from engineering, FM, infrastructure or industrial services background and want real ownership and the chance to build something. This is not a technical paint/coatings role, we are looking for a commercial and operational leader who can run a business and has experience in the following areas - P&L ownership, Operational performance, Leadership, Client engagement and Growth delivery.
