Job Summary
Undertake the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages within primary and secondary schools and community facilities. This role may require flexible and weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items, including frying fish and chips on menu days.
* Clean the fryer regularly and clean the kitchen area.
* Work a pattern of 3 hours daily over lunch, plus an extra hour on fryer cleaning days.
* Demonstrate commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement.
Working Conditions
Aberdeenshire Council applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £13.06 per hour.

Requirements
* Minimum requirement of one reference from current or most recent employer.
* Regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007: preferred candidate will join/undergo PVG Scheme update check.
* Overseas Criminal Record Check if continuous period of 3 months or more out of UK in last 5 years.
* Confirmed offer of employment and commencement dependent on satisfactory pre-employment checks.
