We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Executive Team as Chief Education Officer (CEdO).

The Chief Education Officer will lead on the quality, coherence and impact of education across the Trust. They will ensure all schools are supported by a clear, evidence‑informed educational vision, underpinned by strong pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and inclusive practice. The role brings together school improvement, safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion and community engagement into a single, aligned portfolio, with a clear focus on improving outcomes for all pupils. As a member of the Executive Team, the CEdO will work closely with colleagues across the Trust to ensure educational excellence, equity and a strong sense of belonging are consistently delivered.
In appointing this role, we are seeking an experienced senior education leader with a strong track record of impact across multiple schools or contexts. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of effective school improvement and a genuine commitment to making a difference. As Chief Education Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the next stage of our development, providing both support and challenge to ensure the very best opportunities for every child in our care.

* A proven track record of successful school improvement across multiple schools, phases or contexts.
* Significant experience of senior educational leadership.
* A deep understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and inclusion.
* Strong strategic leadership and influencing skills.
* A commitment to equity, safeguarding and improving life chances for all children.
* The ability to inspire confidence and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree and postgraduate qualification.
* NPQEL or equivalent leadership qualification.
* Evidence of recent and relevant professional development.
