IT Support Analyst
Huntingdon (3-4 days onsite)
£28k-£34k
You'll play a key part in keeping internal colleagues productive by delivering responsive and practical IT support across the business. This is a varied position combining technical troubleshooting, user guidance, device setup, and involvement in ongoing system improvements.
You will be working for one of the top companies in their field who are going through some significant growth, which is why this newly created position is available. It is essential candidates have experience within a 'Professional' environment, such as from a Finance, Legal, Education, healthcare ect.
Responsibilities
* 1st-2nd line support for day-to-day technical issues, ensuring users receive clear communication and timely resolution
* Diagnose and resolve problems affecting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software applications, and user access
* Record and manage support requests within the service management system, maintaining ownership through to completion
* Support Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools to enable efficient hybrid working
* Set up and deploy end-user equipment for new starters and existing staff, including hardware configuration and account provisioning
* Contribute to system upgrades, refresh projects, and change initiatives by assisting with preparation, testing, and user support
Requirements:
* Previous experience providing IT support within a structured or regulated environment (such as finance, legal, education ect)
* Comfortable supporting Windows-based environments and Microsoft 365
* Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and common access requests
* Familiarity with service desk workflows and incident management processes
* Confident communicator who can explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users
* Within an hour's commute of Huntingdon and drives
