Logie Estate is a diversified rural estate near Forres, Moray with a portfolio of residential and commercial rental properties, alongside farming, forestry, tourism and development interests.
We are seeking a practical and organised Assistant Estate Manager to provide maternity cover, with primary responsibility for managing the estate's rental properties. This is a responsible and varied hands-on role focused on property maintenance, compliance and tenant liaison, while also supporting wider estate operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across residential and commercial properties
* Managing trades and contractors on site
* Coordinating statutory compliance including EICRs, boiler servicing, fire safety and inspections
* Carrying out annual residential property inspections
* Assisting with preparing rent reviews, tenant changeovers and property advertising
* Liaising with residential and commercial tenants, farm tenants and local authorities
* Supporting development projects and infrastructure works
* Maintaining accurate records and budgets
* Assisting with wider estate compliance and health and safety responsibilities
* Environmental Accreditation management
About You
You will have:
* Experience in property management or rural estate management
* Strong organisational and budgeting skills
* Confidence managing contractors and dealing with tenants
* A sound understanding of property compliance requirements
* Good IT skills and attention to detail
* A practical, solution-focused approach
* Marketing & communications skills desirable but by no means essential
* A full UK driving licence
