M&E Quantity Surveyor - Senior
Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £130,000 DOE
Travel: Quarterly travel to France, Sweden & Germany (fully expensed)
We are supporting a client within the M&E and electrical services sector who is looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor at either Senior, depending on experience. This role is suited to an electrically biased M&E QS with a strong understanding of electrical services and commercial management within live M&E environments.
The Role
You will be responsible for the commercial management of electrical and M&E packages, working closely with engineering and delivery teams on technically complex projects across the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
* Commercial management of M&E / electrical services packages
* Cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts
* Contract review and risk identification
* Assessment and mitigation of commercial and contractual risk
* Supporting project teams with commercial strategy and reporting
