Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate may come from a cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design background.
We are looking for a problem solver who enjoys challenges and works well within a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products and displays.

We seek candidates with experience in engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. Our approach balances creativity and practicality to develop displays that are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Teamwork is essential, and you will collaborate with 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities will include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and focusing on value engineering and manufacturing efficiencies.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Handling a variety of briefs, from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event sites.
* Thriving in a fast-paced studio environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
* Innovating and challenging conventional design approaches.
