Senior Architect
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £45-55,000 (depending on experience)
We are representing a well-established and respected architectural practice in Portsmouth that is looking to appoint a talented Senior Architect to join its growing team. Key Requirements:
6. ARB-registered Architect with proven post-qualification experience in UK practice
7. Excellent design and technical skills, with strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
8. In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning legislation, and RIBA work stages
9. Experience leading projects through all stages, ideally within education, commercial, or healthcare sectors
10. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
11. Track record of successfully managing multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines
12. Full, clean driving licence
13. Based in or within commuting distance of Portsmouth
Role Responsibilities:
14. Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy
15. Provide leadership within the design team, supporting and mentoring colleagues where required
16. Deliver high-quality design solutions with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation
17. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, planning policy, and best practice guidance
18. Contribute to the strategic development of the practice and play an active role in business growth
