Our client, a well-established and reputable financial services organisation, is seeking a Pensions Administrator to join their friendly and professional team in Hailsham. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to play a key role in delivering high-quality pension administration services to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of pension schemes and compliance requirements.

Salary: £35,000 p/a
Key Responsibilities:
Administer a portfolio of pension schemes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of member benefits.
Maintain and update scheme member records in line with data protection and compliance standards.
Prepare benefit statements, quotations, and reports for members, employers, and trustees.
Calculate leavers, retirements, transfers, deaths, and other member events accurately.
Liaise with clients, actuaries, investment managers, and HMRC as required.
Ensure all administrative tasks meet legislative and scheme-specific deadlines.
Support annual scheme renewals, benefit statements, and audit requirements.
Identify and escalate any discrepancies or complex cases to senior colleagues.
Contribute to process improvement and maintain high-quality service delivery standards.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Previous experience in pensions administration or a similar financial services role.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of defined contribution (DC) and/or defined benefit (DB) pension schemes.
Knowledge of pension legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and pension administration systems.
Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
Progress toward a professional pensions qualification (e.g. PMI) is desirable.
