We are currently looking for a Senior SQL DBA to provide support to ensure all databases are maintained to the highest level and analyze and provide relevant MI reports to the business.

Responsibilities
* Provide support to ensure that all databases are maintained to the highest level.
* Ensure that all critical data is backed up to the relevant media and data restores are tested regularly.
* Work closely with Development and Server teams to ensure that the best Database solutions are deployed.
* Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, providing database support as required.
* Report any DR issues to the relevant departments.
* Ensure that all Database systems are available in accordance with SLAs.
* Ensure that databases are monitored via approved monitoring tools, reviewed, and tested on a regular basis.
* Create and distribute all business-related MI reports within given deadlines.
Knowledge Skills & Experience Requirements
* In-depth SQL Server 2008/R2/2012/R2/2014 administration experience.
* SQL Clustering.
* Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects.
* Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide high availability.
* Good working knowledge of T-SQL and stored procedures, views.
* Application deployment, configuration, and management.
* Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.
* Knowledge of SSRS 2008/R2/2012/R2/2014, deployment, and support.
* Reporting services.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Implementing, configuring, and administrating Data Warehouse.
* Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
* Staff development and knowledge transfer.
