Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Rugby.
Type: Full time, Permanent.
Hours: 4 on 4 off, days and nights, 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm days, 6pm to 6am nights)
Salary: £47,100 + 5% annual performance bonus, overtime available (OTE £53,500)

The Company:
My client is an international foods and beverages manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights. The business manufactures a diverse range of household name products known for their quality and flavours! They offer training and progress opportunities for the right candidate, you can be the next Team Leader or Engineering Manager!
We are seeking competent engineers with a background in maintenance and service on a range of electro-mechanical machinery/systems, ideally from a fast moving consumer goods background, though we are open to hearing from engineers from any form of manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
Reporting in to the Shift Team Leader and Maintenance Manager, your objective will be to ensure the efficient upkeep of all machinery on site and attending breakdowns.
Responsibilities will include:
-Performing PPMs and repairs methodically and efficiently to the highest engineering standards on equipment such as can filling valves, pet filling valves and more.
-Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve with minimal downtime to production
-Electrical fault-finding, mechanical fault-finding
-Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety principles
Requirements:
Food and beverages manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
Advanced fault diagnosis and repair skills - mechanical and electrical
Experience working on machinery including hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Qualified to level 3 or above in a relevant engineering discipline
