This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a genuine interest in working within an educational environment.
You'll be working alongside a School Business Manager and another School Administrator, contributing to the smooth running of the school's day-to-day operations.
Role Details
* Location: Primary school in Liverpool
* Start Date: Immediate
* Contract: Initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support across the school office.
* Manage pupil records and attendance using SIMS (School Information Management System).
* Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Welcome and assist parents, carers, and visitors to the school, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Assist with admissions, communications, and school correspondence.
* Support the School Business Manager with finance and HR-related tasks.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience working in a school office is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with SIMS or similar school management systems.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
* A friendly, professional manner and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
