In this role you will be responsible for every aspect of design management for critical UK infrastructure projects. You will work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad, delivering water services across multiple sectors – aviation, defence, energy, cities and education – with value added through client-side support and construction phases.
Responsibilities
 * Deliver technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high‑quality levels.
 * Prepare briefs, scopes of work and input into bid proposals.
 * Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
 * Understand, communicate and manage project risks.
 * Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
Qualifications
 * Chartered Engineer (Civil, Mechanical or EICA) or equivalent.
 * Experience leading multidisciplinary design delivery, including Design & Build.
 * Sound knowledge of water/wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, and water supply and wastewater collection systems, with familiarity with current UK design standards.
 * Commercial, contractual and programme experience.

Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will be contingent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. Vetting will be conducted through UK Security Vetting (UKSV); proof of UK residency for 5 years or longer may be required.
