As an Operations Resilience Manager in DWP Digital, you'll play a vital role in making sure our live digital services stay stable, secure, and responsive, no matter what challenges come our way. You'll lead on IT Service Continuity Management and Capacity & Performance processes, helping to prevent or minimise disruption caused by service loss or disaster. That means working across technical teams and stakeholders to identify risks, develop recovery plans, and ensure our capacity aligns with business needs. In this role, you'll use your enterprise-level IT expertise to analyse trends, forecast threats, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that support data-driven decision-making. You'll also advise on disaster recovery, data recovery testing, and capacity planning, tailoring solutions to meet the needs of individual services. You'll be a key voice in resilience conversations, working with Business Service Owners to review plans, manage action points, and drive improvements. And when incidents do happen, you'll help coordinate recovery efforts to minimise impact and restore services quickly and safely. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? Service Management - You've applied and overseen service management processes that align with industry standards and best practice, making sure services run smoothly and reliably. Risk & Recovery - You understand threat vectors and service risks, and you've planned and delivered disaster recovery exercises across a range of platforms, ensuring resilience when it matters most. Enterprise Infrastructure - You've got strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems and applications, including how to maintain and recover large, integrated environments monitored by multiple tools. Leadership & Communication - You've led teams and communicated effectively across different levels, whether working with suppliers, customers, or internal teams, using a range of engagement strategies to keep everyone aligned. Service Operations Expertise - You're ITIL4 certified (or have equivalent experience) across key service functions like Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity, Availability, and Continual Service Improvement.
