Due to continued growth, they’re now looking for a driven Workshop / Production Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations. What You’ll Be Doing (The Role) As Workshop / Production Manager, you’ll oversee the complete in-house manufacturing process — managing a skilled team of fabricators, welders, and machinists to deliver top-quality bespoke metalwork on time and to spec. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily workshop operations and production workflow Plan and schedule work across CNC, welding, fabrication and finishing departments Maintain high standards of quality control and H&S compliance Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure specs and deadlines are met Monitor stock levels, materials, and machine maintenance Lead, mentor and motivate workshop staff to ensure peak performance About You We’re looking for someone who brings: Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Production Manager, or Fabrication Supervisor Strong background in metalwork, steel fabrication, or architectural metal manufacturing Excellent leadership, planning, and team management skills Good understanding of CNC machinery, welding techniques, and sheet metal processes Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset Health & Safety awareness (qualifications like SMSTS or IOSH are a plus) About the Company Our client is a growing, design-led metal fabrication specialist working on some of the UK’s most exciting construction and interior projects.
