Please Note : Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the majority of interactions for this position will be via Skype, email, and telephone. There may be the occasional face-to-face meeting which will implement the 1.5 metre social distancing rules as required. Interviews will be conducted via Skype or telephone.
To support and promote TTTAF and its activities; specifically, to support the President and the Executive Committee to ensure the smooth running of the “behind the scenes” functions. Examples include, but are not limited to :
* Ensuring meetings are properly called, organised, and minuted.
* Maintaining effective records of, and communication with, the membership and members. Maintaining attendance registers for those attending clinics.
* Upholding the legal requirements of the governing documents of TTTAF and of the ACNC.
* Ensuring compliance with the requirements of various government bodies, including ASIC, ACNC, ABR, ATO, and Consumer Affairs Victoria.
* Ensuring relevant insurances remain in place and at an appropriate level.
* Maintaining financial records and authorising expenditure (in conjunction with others).
* Identifying and applying for such council and government grants as may be available.
* Maintaining the TTTAF website and other social media platforms (in conjunction with others).
* Promoting the activities of TTTAF through the writing of advertising and other material.
* Uploading material to, and maintaining, the central document storage area.
* Responding to general correspondence and enquiries.
Interested candidates must be able to communicate clearly, in both written and verbal form, have a keen eye for detail, and an interest in helping the local community.
A WWC check is a must, and a current driving licence is preferred.
