Senior Dispensary Pharmacy Assistant – Band 3

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join our Pharmacy Department Team. The successful candidate will support the development of pharmacy services, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, and play a critical role in inpatient and outpatient dispensing.
Responsibilities
* Manage stock control and act as the super‑user for the Rowa system.
* Train and supervise rotational assistants and staff of various grades.
* Dispense medication in both inpatient and outpatient dispensary settings.
* Work weekends and bank holidays as required.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy (essential).
* Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
* Ability to collaborate with a wide range of health professionals.
Employment is subject to a six‑month probationary period.
