Role Overview
Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Administrator to join their team in the Oxford area. You will play a crucial role in supporting the business unit through a variety of administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective interfacing both internally and externally.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Raise purchase orders for materials as requested by the team, ensuring suppliers are approved where appropriate. Keep office supplies stocked and maintain accurate records.
* Act as the main point of contact for site liaison, including receiving guests, signing them in, issuing and reconciling guest passes, and managing deliveries and off‑site equipment maintenance.
* Provide customer support by receiving and processing customer orders, advising customers of any production issues, and maintaining open communication.
* Support in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) documents in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, including filing scanned digital documents, logging updates, and issuing forms.
Role Requirements
* Relevant experience with administration as well as strong computer skills.
* Proven industry experience in a similar administrative role within the pharmaceutical sector.
* A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
