Care Team Leader, Meadowlark Care Home, Forres, IV36 2JT
We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care (Scotland) Ltd.
We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team in Meadowlark for 38.5 hours per week.
Our care team is at the forefront of resident engagement, quality care, and lifestyle opportunities – ensuring physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing for all residents. The role of Care Team Lead is to promote and encourage the wider care team to create daily meaningful interactions, ensuring residents live with purpose and connection.
As a Care Team Lead, you are encouraged to take a primary role in creating and updating resident Care Plans, ensuring they are personalized with what’s meaningful to the individual. Promoting the values and virtues of our Inclusion Charter to keep residents at the core of their care.
Care Team Leads are responsible for upholding care standards and leading by example when supervising the wider care team. Key responsibilities include: promoting compassionate care within a friendly and supportive environment, helping to induct new care staff, supervising the care team, conducting training, and supporting new/junior team members to deliver quality, personalized care.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Medication administration training would be preferred, along with at least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role. You will be aware of, and adhere to, the SSSC Codes of Practice and, preferably, be registered with the SSSC.
