Events Officer – Make Moments That Matter! 12 Month Full-time | Based in Norwest – Hybrid working Design events with heart, purpose & impact that celebrate the people we serve From conferences to celebrations, help us create experiences people remember Do you love creating memorable experiences? You’ll help deliver inspiring internal events for our amazing employees and volunteers, as well as external events that showcase and celebrate the BaptistCare brand. Think conferences, celebrations, launches, official openings, fundraising events and more — if it brings people together, you’ll be at the heart of it. What You Will Be Doing You will work closely with our Events & Communications Manager to: Coordinate engaging internal and external events — both in-person and online Manage registrations, logistics, suppliers, dignitaries and VIPs Support launches, official openings and major conferences Bring polished, professional experiences to life from concept to completion Collaborate across MarComms, senior leaders and operational teams Keep everything running smoothly with excellent admin and systems skills Travel throughout NSW, ACT and interstate when needed (hello, road trips!) We offer hybrid working with a minimum of two days a week in the office. This role is for a maximum term of twelve months and can be full time or 4 days a week. These options will be discussed during the recruitment process About You You’re a confident communicator, a natural organiser and a creative problem-solver. People trust you because you’re calm under pressure, incredibly reliable and always two steps ahead! You will also bring: Formal qualifications or equivalent experience in event coordination Minimum 3 years’ experience planning and running events Experience creating event-related content and using digital communication tools Strong stakeholder management, including senior executives Advanced Microsoft Office skills A driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel An understanding of — and alignment with — BaptistCare’s values Bonus points if you’ve worked in a not-for-profit environment!
