Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? We’re looking for a dedicated Customer Support Advisor to join our Customer Service team.
At Golden Charter, we value our customers and funeral directors above all else. As Customer Support Advisor, your role is to ensure our plan holders and funeral directors have someone they trust, an expert available to understand and deal with their enquiries in a professional and safe way. This is a role that demands the human touch, someone who is comfortable dealing with people via phone, email and even the odd letter.
While we offer hybrid working, we get together in our Glasgow office at least twice per week for team collaboration and to stay connected. This role also involves a 2 week training period where you'll be required to be in the office.
What you'll be doing:
* Respond to calls, emails and general written enquiries
* Update plans at our customer requests ensuring accurate notes are documented
* Take card payments and direct debit mandates requests
* Resolve complaints, when possible, at first point of contact or document for escalation
* Ensure customer duty and vulnerability guidelines are always followed
What we’re looking for:
* A passion for helping people and delivering excellent customer satisfaction
* Prior customer service telephony experience
* Excellent relationship building skills
* Ability to work to high standards ensuring attention to detail
* Knowledge of Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
