Lead Project PM&C Professional - BAE Systems
Frimley, Surrey
12-month contract, 37 hours per week
£47 per hour via PAYE or £63.40 via umbrella (inside IR35)
Hybrid working - 2-3 days on site
Security clearance: BPSS & UK Eyes Only
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Lead Project PM&C Professional to support project delivery across major defence programmes. You'll lead PM&C activity on a small project or work package, guide a small team, and ensure high-quality planning, reporting, risk management, and governance.
In this role, you will:
✔ Lead PM&C processes across the full project lifecycle
✔ Develop and manage detailed project plans (Primavera P6)
✔ Produce advanced reports, schedules & risk assessments
✔ Support governance reviews and ensure PM standards are met
✔ Guide and support up to 5 team members
✔ Collaborate across project, PMO and delivery teams
What you'll bring:
🔹 Strong PM&C experience and knowledge of PM governance
🔹 Skilled in scheduling, reporting & risk management
🔹 Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
🔹 Primavera P6 expertise
🔹 Degree or equivalent + PM qualification (APM PMQ expected)
